Nature Photography Feild Guide

The booklet here features a unique navigation design that caters specifically to the book's intended use case; a field guide that can be quickly pulled from a pocket and opened to the needed section. This navigation design cut into the available design real estate, so I had to carefully balance that tradeoff. The result is a booklet that is both functional and beautiful in real-world usage. The page window cutout also showcases creativity and advanced graphic design techniques. I keep a copy in my photography bag.

Chanté & Tevor Archives

This podcast required complete branding from scratch, including the logo, typography, Spotify tile, website, and a bus wrap. For a show exploring legacy tech, the client wanted something reminiscent of old-school computing to communicate the show's genre and content in a compact, effective way without it looking just outdated. I iterated my design of the keycap logo to achieve this with a modern sans-serif on chunky keycaps. The bus wrap features a large centered logo to build brand recognition and a tagline designed to capture interest. The goal is to encourage riders to pull out their phones, pop in their headphones, and search for "Chanté and Trevor."

Haruki Murakami Covers

These covers are designed to stand out on a crowded bookshelf and prompt that critical initial purchase decision. When presented alongside hundreds of similarly priced books, these bold designs are crafted to capture attention first. Publisher logos had to be clearly visible too. The wraparound design guides the reader through the blurb, maintaining their interest during those crucial first few seconds a book is in hand. The goal is to turn attention into a sale, and ultimately into a satisfying reading experience and a beautiful addition to a bookshelf.
